This happens to us every year....you'd think we'd learn. Anyway, we get really busy in July/August (or Jennifer does anyway) and we become less diligent about posting to our blog. Then our blog expires, and b/c we haven't been logging in we don't notice and therefore don't pay our renewal. A couple days later we realize what happened and say "oops....time to give blog-city more money!" Then it takes them a while to decide our money is good enough for them or something. So, we're not sure when you'll see this, or even if anyone is visiting us anymore.
Well, anyway. Now that we've paid the ransom, we're going to try to do better with posting once again. We've thought about it a number of times over the last 6 weeks or however long it's been since our last post, but then decide that we're too busy and we'll get to that later. And then we feel like such total slackers b/c larc has been off doing such trivial things as creating new life, and she still finds time to drop in a few paragraphs almost every day.
We should have posted last Wednesday to wish Thalia a Happy Birthday. She turned 10 human years old last week, which according to the charts makes her 56 in cat years. While we were looking things up, we discovered that Shelby is currently 33 years old, just like Jennifer. But in a few months, Shelby will pass Jennifer and she'll be the youngest one in the house. We cats think that this means we are definitely in charge. Jennifer says this means we should get a puppy so she's not the youngest. Uh-oh....
We here at larc are glad you're not dead.... we were beginning to wonder!
